Ashfield, Massachusetts  settled in 1743

Ashfield is a small New England village, tucked away in the hills of Western Massachusetts.  Our house is within walking distance to Ashfield Lake, where you can take a refreshing swim in the summer.  In the fall, our landscapes are like watercolors.  In the winter, we keep cozy with a fire in our fireplace.  The winter thaw leads us into maple syrup season, which we feature with our famous breakfasts.  Spring is always welcomed with its many shades of green, along with colorful tulips and daffodils.

Nearby, you can explore the artistic community of Shelbourne Falls; relive history in Old Deerfield Village; make candles at Yankee Candle; go whitewater rafting on the Deerfield River; learn the art of cheese making at New England Cheese Making Supply; or catch a performance at Double Edge Theater.
